Day 9 - A book you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving 

I’d rather answer the question: A book you thought you would maybe like, but ended up loving. My answer:The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. I was first introduced to C.S. Lewis in my childhood with the wonderful world of Narnia, but then as I grew up, I lost sight of him. I rediscovered him years after becoming a fan of U2 when I came to realize how much Bono was inspired by this novel for his late 90s stage alter egos. It is a captivating, but troubling read which constantly challenges our ideas of truth, morality and damnation. It has left me with much to ponder on and I don’t believe I’ve found all the answers just yet.
